First and foremost, I’m a Christian. It impacts every aspect of my life from family to business. Secondly, I am a wife to Brandon, mother to Elizabeth, Sam, Will and Stella, daughter to Dave and Carol and Ken and Linda, sister to Mary and Kiersten, aunt to Caleb, Jonathan, Daniel, David and Ava. I love my family so much and really enjoy spending time with them. I am also a travel advisor for Yellow Shoe Travel. I love traveling and helping families/couples plan their vacations. This is the perfect secondary gig for me!
I’m a cancer survivor. I had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in the summer of 1997. I love kittens, and we foster for Robin’s Nest of Indy. I love warm weather and beach living. I’m not sure why I live in Indiana. We will live in Florida some day I’m sure! I love learning, studying, improving. I’m always looking for something new to “dabble in,” and therefore looking for new ways to balance it all! Sometimes I’m really good at juggling my life, and sometimes I really struggle!
I love all things photography! I have loved it since I was young. My sister and I used to dress up our Barbies and do photoshoots with them! Ha! In 2008, my family photographer was changing careers, so I bought her camera. I figured that I would just use it to photograph my kids who were very young at the time. I started learning the camera and practicing on my kids. Shortly after, friends started asking me to photograph their kids and a small business was born. Since then, I’ve spent countless hours doing photography training and photographing families, newborns, seniors, children and weddings all over the central Indiana area.
I love capturing people in candid moments when they don’t even know I’m there. I love seeing a baby smile when I set that birthday cupcake down in front of them and a groom’s face light up when he sees his bride coming towards him. I also love all things graphic design. I enjoy starting with a blank page and ending up with a beautiful business portfolio that completely reflects my client.
Well, that’s me in a “nutshell.” I look forward to meeting you and working together to capture beautiful images!
